When we began planning what our special day would look like, we wanted it to feel like we had a chance to step away from the day-to-day rush of our lives. We both grew up going to family reunions, summer camps, and enjoying getaways with family and friends. After all these years, it was these experiences we remember the most.

We're excited to host a weekend getaway of our own at Friday Harbor, on San Juan Island. One part family reunion. One part island getaway. One part end-of-summer bash. We want to spend time with you, hear what life has been like recently, and provide space for our loved ones to reunite, or meet for the first time.

Our wedding represents the combining of family trees and friendships. This is our way of deepening the bonds around both the future we're building and the family we're creating.
